Founded by Emma, a lifelong horse owner with a deep love of trees and the countryside, our business grew from one simple idea — to help horse owners make safe, informed choices about what they plant around their paddocks, stables, and fields.

 

Emma knows that not every tree or hedge is suitable for horses. Many common garden or farm species can be harmful if grazed, while others provide excellent shelter, shade, and natural foraging. With years of experience and research into horse-safe trees and hedging, Emma created Horse Hedges & Trees to take the guesswork out of planting.
